ABOUT ANJA SCHRAMM

Anja Künzler (Nee Schramm) obtained her LLB (Bachelor of Laws) degree from Rhodes University, Grahamstown, in 2009.

She served her articles in KZN and at this stage realized that she was drawn to family law, particularly because the “human” element encapsulates the very reason for choosing this career in the first place.

Anja decided to open up her own practice shortly after being admitted as an attorney in May 2011, in her home town of Kloof.

The offices of Anja Schramm Attorneys is located on the top floor of a well known Centre, in the main office suite with large double doors and a balcony overlooking the bustling movements of patrons visiting the coffee shop or going to the gym.  The location is perfectly situated as it is in the heart of the beautiful suburb of Kloof, with a warm yet professional atmosphere.

Anja is married and lives 3km from her office, which is also near her childhood home. She has one daughter and since she became a parent, her passion for this area of law has only grown stronger.

It is a sad reality that the legal profession is not considered high up on the moral charts, but Anja seeks to breathe wind back into those sails by remaining 100% ethical with a strong sense of duty. Albeit a livelihood, family law is about people and one must never lose sight of the fact that as an attorney, you are playing a vital role in someone else’s life.

Law is not only about standing in a Court room, fighting; there is a time and place for the bulldog approach. Family law especially, demands a holistic view of the situation and making strategic decisions after all is considered, and that is what makes us unique.
